Terms of Living

So you just lost your job, where do you go from here?

Terms of Living is a short interactive fic about a bank that exchanges your remaining years for money, and a discussion about some of the consequences that follow. It was written as my final assignment in Writing for Games I. 

The outline we followed was for the Telltale Games writing test. The following detailed the constraints: 

Create a text-based, interactive story in Twine (the engine is easy to learn and can be downloaded for free at https://twinery.org/). The story must involve a visit to a bank, include at least five interactive moments along at least one path, and take no more than seven minutes to complete a playthrough of a single path. 

This short interactive fic was inspired by the manga, Three Days of Happiness by Miaki Sugaru. There are two endings to be obtained depending on your choices. It's been proofread and playtested at the time of submission. 

The work was previously titled Life's Worth. I debated on a number of titles but decided to settle with a twist on the phrase "terms of service." Another title I considered was the phrase "cost of living." In the end , I combined the two for more symbolic flow.
