Treant Trouble

You are a forest elf, one of the last of your kind. 

One of your duties is to protect the forest and keep it safe for travelers from the wandering, pesky treants. However, the task is a bit harder than you remember. You have the power of light spells to aid you, but why are there so many of them?!

my third submission for intro to game programming! the theme of the game is a top down, shmup, and/or dungeon crawler. i chose to keep it one room, in favor of spawning waves of enemies that the player can take out. i'm not going to lie -- i struggled with this one quite a bit. overall, i'm happy with the outcome! will polish it at a later time, but for now, here's the final (hopefully) bug-free build :)
